Job summary

Amentum is seeking an UH60 Aircraft Mechanic I to repair, replace, and rebuild helicopter structures and components, including engines, fuel systems, and hydraulics, using hand and power tools and standard test equipment at our Marietta, GA site.

You will read maintenance manuals and bulletins, perform 100-hour and other inspections, document work in maintenance records, and may supervise jacking and towing. A current A&P license or relevant aviation experience is required.

Qualifications

Valid up-to-date A&P license or equivalent aviation maintenance experience.
Minimum six years aviation maintenance experience within the last six years (per the job description).
Ability to read, interpret and apply maintenance manuals, service bulletins and engineering data.
Experience with testing, measuring devices and diagnostic equipment for aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and components using hand and power tools.
Perform inspections (100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic) and diagnose malfunctions.
Inspect jet engine turbines and perform engine tests with appropriate equipment.
Document maintenance actions in records and ensure regulatory compliance.
May supervise jacking and towing and assist with engine removal/installation.
