Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Electrician (UH-60) at Fort Bliss to inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components following manuals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing avionics, wiring, and instruments, diagnosing electrical malfunctions, and ensuring safety standards. Must have strong tool use and a willingness to work varied shifts in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
U.S. military technical school or specialized training preferred.
Valid up-to-date A&P and/or FCC license (optional).
Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on the assigned MDS.
Must provide own tools/toolbox.
Must be able to work various shifts as required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components per manuals and procedures.
Install, inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment and wiring on aircraft.
Troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical/electronic components and subsystems.
Maintain and install aircraft electrical assemblies and instruments.
Adhere to safety programs and wear PPE.
