Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I Electrician (UH-60) to inspect and maintain aircraft electrical systems and avionics per manuals and safety rules. The role covers installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics, wiring, and batteries on rotary-wing aircraft.

The candidate will handle documentation, parts requests, and routine inspections, while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS) within the last six years.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must provide own tools/toolbox; recruiters will provide toolbox requirements upon selection.
• Ability to work day, swing, night, and weekend shifts as required by CBA.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Public Trust Security Clearance; US Citizenship required for facility credentials.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Install, remove, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment (radar, radio, navigation).
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical/electronic subsystems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections.
• Prepare maintenance forms and records; manage parts requests.
• Adhere to safety programs and company policies.
