Job summary

Avita Health System in Ontario, OH is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the MedSurg Department. You will support RN/LPN in delivering compassionate patient care and assist with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.

• Experience providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN/LVN supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for assigned patients.
• Support hospital team in MedSurg department.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our MedSurgDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or patients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.

Preferred:

• Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work-related experience working as a nursing assistant.
• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
