Avita Health System in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant (UC/PCA) for the MedSurg Department to support patient care under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
• Preferred: STNA certification or nursing assistant experience.
• Previous experience as a nursing assistant.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant (UC/PCA) to join our MedSurgDepartment at our Bucyruslocation.

Position Overview

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or patients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.

Preferred:

• Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work-related experience working as a nursing assistant.
• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
