Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Unified Capabilities (UC) NOC Technician III to support the DISA DGOC in a 24x7 shift environment, including nights and weekends. Active Top Secret clearance is required, along with DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification and strong voice/IP networking knowledge.

Responsibilities include incident management, circuit configuration, global situational awareness, and coordination with UC stakeholders to maximize network availability. Position requires US citizenship.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required.
• Able to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• General understanding of voice infrastructure and IP network topologies.

Responsibilities

• Create/update/resolve unclear problems and issues faced, utilizing a broad knowledge of the network architect, utilizing the Service Now platform.
• Notify necessary points of contacts based on essential or heightened awareness networks, circuits or location incidents.
• Execute network operations to include configuration and analysis of customer circuits across TDM and SIP trunks.
• Work with customers and UC stakeholders to ensure maximum network availability and minimize mission impact.
• Proactively monitor network alarms across platform specific management tools.
• Support customers with global situational awareness.
• Verify service restoration upon ticket resolution.
• Provide timely situational awareness to leadership using approved communication methods.
• Record, assess, track, and monitor incident tickets escalated to operations.
• Document outages and resolutions in incident management apps.
• Maintain route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and route partitions.
• Assess and recommend resolutions to network incidents and configuration deficiencies.
• Develop solutions pertaining to UC and DRSN operations.
