Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software supporting mission objectives. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure software aligned with SDLC and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities include developing production‑quality code in an Agile setting, working with UAV flight stacks (BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4), and implementing sensor fusion with IMUs, GPS, cameras, and LiDAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• Experience with autonomous navigation, path planning, and sensor fusion.
• Strong background in C/C++ software development and debugging.
• Experience with UAV flight stacks (BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications.
• Develop production-ready software in an Agile environment.
• Work with sensors (IMUs, GPS, cameras, LiDAR) and sensor fusion.
• Use QGroundControl for mission planning and monitoring.
• Develop GUI with Qt/QML and integrate MAVLink communications.
• Troubleshoot complex network and software communication issues.
• Parse and reverse engineer codebases to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with CAD teams and deploy software from source.
