Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a System Integration Project Engineer to lead cross‑discipline integration for unmanned aircraft systems and related subsystems.

You will bridge software, hardware, and test teams to ensure complete, functional capabilities and manage risks across architecture and implementation levels. The role requires strong systems understanding, collaboration across software, hardware, and test organizations, and readiness to travel for activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering with progressive experience.
Extensive system integration and aerospace systems knowledge.
Experience with software lifecycle and integration across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead software integration activities across engineering teams.
Understand aircraft and ground-system architectures and LRUs.
Collaborate with software teams through requirements, design, tests.
Manage technical reviews, risks, and escalation.
Track execution using JIRA, Confluence; communicate status to leadership.
