This role provides technical and operational support for unmanned aerial vehicle electronic equipment, including ground control stations and ground data terminals, ensuring customer specifications are met. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance; may require travel and training internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• Requires two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency plus two+ years in aviation or electronics.
• Airframe & Powerplant certification is highly desired.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot at the component level and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Operates UAVs, ground control stations, and associated equipment at operation locations.
• Analyzes customer requirements and evaluates product implementation to meet specs.
• Provides technical support on installation, configuration, and repair at customer sites.
• Performs troubleshooting and repair of ground and airborne electronic equipment.
• Repairs or replaces components based on test results and technical docs.
• Installs, configures, and tests computer hardware, software, and networked systems.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance on systems and maintains records.
• Validates technical documents; may suggest changes.
• Fabricates and routes wire harnesses; ensures proper installation.
• Represents group with customers and other personnel.
• May conduct training for peers and customers.
