Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis in Huntsville, AL is seeking a motivated UAS Software Engineer to join the S3I JSIL Tech Center. You will work with developers, testers, and cyber personnel to address bugs and add features to the codebase, ensuring robust software for unmanned aircraft systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration across hardware, network, and software, documentation of designs, APIs, and architectures, and hands-on development with C++, Java, and scripting.

Qualifications

• ABET engineering or CS degree or 6+ years relevant experience.
• Degree plus 3+ years experience preferred.
• Hands-on with software integration across hardware, network, and software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers, hardware and network engineers to implement system requirements.
• Stay current on technologies, tools, frameworks to improve performance.
• Create detailed technical documentation, APIs and diagrams for stakeholders.
• Assist with designing and optimizing software for large-scale systems.
