Thales Group is seeking a UAS Account & Portfolio Director to develop market opportunities for unmanned aircraft systems and advanced air mobility integration into the NAS. You will work with federal/state governments and industry groups to expand the UTM program and grow the business in North Dakota and beyond.

You will join the UTM team within the Airspace Mobility Solutions Business Line, leading cross-functional efforts, managing a portfolio targeting ~ $20M in intake, and traveling up to

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or aviation.
• 10+ years of professional experience in the aviation and/or UAS industry.
• 10+ years of professional experience working with state and local government.
• 5+ years of project or team leadership experience, with ability to motivate teams and represent Thales Group.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, curiosity and autonomy; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to customer locations and events.
• Extensive exposure to and knowledge of the UAS industry.
• Manage a business portfolio targeting approximately $20M in order intake.

• Build a long-term pipeline, expand market share, and drive growth through partnerships.
• Develop and execute business and account plans with the UTM team.
• Align stakeholders and coordinate account and sales teams to advance opportunities.
• Direct and monitor bids, projects, and programs to deliver results and governance compliance.
