Job summary

Trillium is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive significant growth in domestic and international markets. You will identify and capture new business opportunities, serve as the primary contact for key customers, and manage relationships across our DoD, UAV/UAS, and aerospace portfolios.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in Aerospace & Defense, UAV/UAS preferred.
• Working knowledge of US DoD acquisition process and budget.
• Direct experience interacting with customers to define mission needs and translate to engineering and program management.
• Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, capture planning, and proposal development.
• Experience influencing and shaping customer requirements.
• CRM tools experience: NetSuite CRM or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop domestic and international opportunities, strategies, and initiatives to drive growth.
• Build relationships with domestic end customers, including DoD, and with major OEMs in UAV space.
• Increase qualified pipeline and close sales opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Coordinate with Program Management and Engineering to ensure voice of the customer is heard.
• Oversee and support proposal activities and marketing campaigns.
