Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a UAS Operations Ground Support Specialist to join Flight Operations in a Commercial Ground Support role supporting Part 135 drone delivery operations.

The role requires completing FAA-approved training before independently performing duties and working with RPICs, maintenance, and engineering to ensure aircraft readiness and safe ground operations. You'll support Part 107 testing and system validation within safety controls, maintain qualifications and records, and

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Part 107 certificate and complete required training and competency evaluations.
• Maintain required qualifications, recurrent training, and standardization.
• Strong communication and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as qualified Commercial Ground Support for Part 135 UAS operations after training.
• Complete FAA‑approved training and competency evaluations.
• Maintain qualifications and conduct recurrent training.
• Support aircraft preparation, payload handling, battery management, and turnaround.
• Verify readiness using ground support procedures and checklists.
• Coordinate with RPIC and operations for missions.
• Pause unsafe activities and escalate concerns; RPIC maintains authority.
• Identify hazards and report discrepancies through safety channels.
• Maintain training, qualification, and equipment records.
• Assist with abnormal and emergency operations within ground support duties.
