Job summary

DoorDash seeks a UAS Operations Ground Support Specialist to join Flight Operations in a Commercial Ground Support role supporting safe Part 135 UAS delivery operations. You'll train under FAA-approved programs and work with RPICs, Flight Operations leadership, and Maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and compliant ground procedures.

You will collaborate across teams for Part 107 testing, development, and validation, while maintaining records and following safety controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in UAS, aviation ground operations, or safety-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, checklists, and safety protocols.
• Excellent situational awareness and communication during operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as qualified Commercial Ground Support within Flight Operations for Part 135 UAS operations.
• Complete FAA-approved training and competency evaluations.
• Maintain required qualifications, recurrent training, and standardized procedures.
• Support aircraft preparation, payload handling, and ground operations from staging to turnaround.
• Verify readiness of aircraft, payloads, equipment, and operating area.
• Coordinate with RPIC and operational personnel to maintain situational awareness.
• Identify and report hazards, discrepancies, and deviations through proper channels.
• Maintain training and equipment records for assigned activities.
