Job summary

DoorDash USA is seeking a UAS Operations Specialist to join Flight Operations as a pilot supporting commercial drone delivery under Part 135. You will complete FAA‑approved training, aircraft qualification, and checks to become Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) with ongoing currency and proficiency.

Qualified pilots may be selected for Flight/ Ground Instructor or Check Pilot roles based on experience, proficiency, and program needs, with additional qualification and FAA approval where required.

Qualifications

• FAA Remote Pilot Certificate with a small UAS rating and Part 107 currency.
• Experience with commercial UAS or aviation flight operations.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace, weather, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a commercial UAS RPIC under supervision and oversight by Flight Operations leadership.
• Complete required ground/flight training, qualification checks, and ongoing currency.
• Maintain pilot certificates, qualifications, currency, and medical eligibility as required.
• Conduct preflight planning, weather/airspace review, mission execution, and post-flight activities.
• Apply SOPs, manuals, exemptions, waivers, and FAA authorizations relevant to the mission.
