DoorDash USA is seeking a UAS Operations Ground Support Specialist to join Flight Operations. You will support Part 135 UAS delivery readiness, complete FAA-approved training, and maintain ground readiness through disciplined procedures.

You’ll work with RPICs, Maintenance, and Engineering, coordinating to ensure safe operations and mission execution while adhering to safety controls and company policies. This role requires outdoor work and flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Part 107 certificate and ability to complete required training, competency evaluations, recurrent training, and standardization requirements.

Responsabilités

• Serve as qualified Commercial Ground Support for Part 135 UAS operations once trained and authorized.
• Complete training and required competency evaluations under FAA-approved program.
• Maintain required qualifications, recurrent training, proficiency, and standardization.
• Support aircraft preparation, payload handling, battery management, equipment setup, launch and recovery, and aircraft turnaround.
• Verify aircraft readiness and compliance with Ground Support procedures and checklists.
• Coordinate with RPIC and operational personnel, maintaining situational awareness and timely communication.
• Pause unsafe activities and escalate concerns per safety channels.
• Identify hazards, discrepancies, and deviations; report through safety and maintenance channels.
• Maintain training, qualification, and equipment records; support abnormal and emergency operations.
• Provide feedback to improve ground procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
• When qualified, oversee training of new Ground Support crew per FAA-approved program.
