Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is hiring for a Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist (Journeyman) to support the Navy’s PAÉ RAS as a Flight Clearance Product Developer at Patuxent River NAS in Lexington Park, MD. The role blends on-site training with a hybrid telework schedule, focusing on FC product development, testing, and certification for unmanned and manned operations.

Qualifications

• HS/GED with 8+ years experience, or Associate’s degree with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years.
• Experience creating and implementing configuration management for technical data.
• Experience communicating with NAVAIR leadership, engineers, and fleet users.
• Experience in flight operations on crewed or unmanned platforms.
• Knowledge of FAA NAS policies as they relate to airspace and operations.
• Knowledge of DCMA/DoD/NAVAIR docs, directives, orders, and instructions for flight ops.
• Ability to translate OEM manuals into DoD/NAVAIR language.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and editorial/graphics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive and self-sufficient.
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for FC product information and process knowledge.
• Coordinate and manage all assigned flight clearance products.
• Track interim to permanent FC content transitions.
• Create and submit tracking reports to PMA and stakeholders.
• Develop content and facilitate FC progression through engineering reviews.
• Create and present briefs supporting fleet capabilities and new UAS types.
• Facilitate or host meetings as needed by PMA/APME/APSE and team members.
