Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the Naval Aircrew Systems program office (PMA-202) at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. The role involves guiding the engineering development of modern, complex systems and ensuring airworthiness in collaboration with the EDRAP process.

The position is hybrid, onsite several times per week with telework. Travel is one week per quarter. Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher and be a US citizen.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform programmatic or technical analysis to identify, formulate, design, and test practical engineering solutions.
• Guide the engineering development of modern complex systems.
• Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems.
• Track and validate systems requirements.
• Coordinate with Airworthiness/Cybersafe Office on ED-RAPs for flight clearances.
