Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a UAS Tech / TMD Datalinks SME to support PM UAS, providing technical oversight for datalink system development, integration, qualification, and sustainment on-site with limited telework.

The role requires US citizenship and a DoD SECRET clearance, with travel up to 25% across the Continental US. You will coordinate with labs and offices, develop datalink strategies, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering and acquisition to advance Army UAS mission

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship.
DoD SECRET security clearance.
Experience with UAS datalink systems, RF systems, communications systems, or related mission systems.
Experience with encryption, RF modeling, datalink standards, COMSEC, or TRANSEC.
Strong reporting to management and clear communication skills.
On-site full-time work with limited telework eligibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate a UAS datalink strategy aligned with office objectives and capabilities.
Provide datalink SME support to PM UAS leadership and special projects.
Oversee datalink system development, integration, qualification, and sustainment.
Assess RF systems, antennas, modems, and related hardware and software.
Coordinate with labs and development organizations (OSW, NSA, NATO).
Lead policy and technical direction discussions to protect Army UAS mission effectiveness.
Represent UAS TMD strategy in forums with contractors and partners.
