Job summary

MISC. Recruiting seeks a Senior Datalinks Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to support the PM UAS Technical Management Division. You will be the primary datalinks expert at the division level, providing technical leadership across PM UAS and interacting with stakeholders.

The role requires autonomy, deep RF/datalink knowledge, and strong systems engineering judgment, with on-site work and limited telework eligibility. Immediate transition from current SME planned over months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with RF, datalink, or related mission-system technologies.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
On-site work with limited telework eligibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate a comprehensive UAS datalink strategy aligned with PM UAS objectives.
Serve as the principal datalink advisor to the Chief Engineer and PM UAS stakeholders.
Provide technical oversight for datalink development, integration, qualification, production, fielding, modernization, and sustainment.
Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and acquisition documentation.
Coordinate with government laboratories, agencies, and industry partners.
