Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is seeking a hands-on Assembly & Manufacturing Manager in Pilot Point, TX to lead assembly, testing and delivery of UAS products. You will work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and HQ to ensure safe, compliant production and scalable processes.

You will develop teams, implement DFMA feedback, drive continuous improvement, and maintain equipment, tooling and manufacturing assets while delivering high-quality aircraft on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace, UAS, robotics, automotive, or advanced electromechanical manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Strong knowledge of quality, configuration control, inspection, documentation, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and workshop operations, including production planning and staffing.
• Develop assembly technicians through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Own production execution: assembly, testing, documentation, and delivery per design and quality.
• Establish standardized procedures, build records, inspections, and traceability.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, configuration control, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive root-cause investigations for critical issues and implement CAPA.
