Job summary

The United States Golf Association (USGA) invites applications for a Short-Term U.S. Women's Open Operations Intern based at Inverness Club in Toledo, OH. You will support event operations, assist with on-site setup, staff arrivals, and daily logistics during championship weeks, under the guidance of experienced operations staff.

This paid internship (approx. 40–80 hours per week during peak periods) offers exposure to hospitality, course operations, and sustainable golf practices, with housing

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a golf cart.
• Effective communication with diverse teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site facilities setup (hospitality spaces, media center, vendor compounds).
• Prepare for staff arrivals and distribute equipment.
• Facilitate vendor and USGA department requests promptly.
• Support package delivery across the property.
• Assist teardown and storage of Championship equipment.
