Job summary

The United States Golf Association (USGA) seeks a Coordinator for U.S. Women's Open Operations in Toledo, OH.

Lead advance planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, construction oversight, and operational execution to deliver the championship’s infrastructure and services. You’ll liaise with host sites, vendors, municipalities, and staff; manage internships; oversee site planning, permits, and weekly construction meetings; and relocate as needed for future venues, including potential housing

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of sports operations or large-event experience.
• Experience with budgeting, vendor contracts, and timelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage host-site relationships, timelines, and post-event restoration.
• Lead RFPs, vendor selection, and contract execution.
• Assist with budget management, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Direct execution of operations: trailers, storage, fencing, restrooms, furniture, equipment, carts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across sites and vendors.
• Support site inspections, planning, and coordination with leaders and consultants.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and complete facilities and punch items.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise interns during construction and teardown.
• Assist with event permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Facilitate meetings to align schedules, deliverables, and priorities.
