Job summary

Established International Company is seeking an experienced General Manager (U.S.) to direct and expand its North American irrigation business operations in the landscape, municipality and turf segments.

This role requires a commercially driven leader capable of balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution—driving revenue growth, expanding market penetration across commercial irrigation and smart water management markets.

Qualifications

• Solid experience having worked with and sold into landscape/municipal markets.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within smart water management, commercial irrigation control systems, or industrial IoT / automation technologies.
• Proven success scaling a regional business unit or mid-market technology distributor, managing annual revenues, and expanding dealer/distribution networks.
• Leadership style aligned with developing strategic sales frameworks while closing enterprise accounts and resolving operational hurdles.
• Serve as the direct liaison to global executive leadership with reporting cadence and capital allocation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate company’s operation, inventory management, customer support, and field service delivery to ensure seamless post-sale execution and client retention.
• Lead the U.S. sales strategy by mentoring account executives and technical sales teams while participating in high-value enterprise deal closures and partner negotiations.
• Expand Company’s footprint within commercial irrigation, municipal, and industrial IoT water management sectors through direct sales and partnerships.
• Drive overall commercial growth and operational performance across the United States with clear 6- and 12-month milestones.
