Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an outside sales professional to promote our products and services within the Atascocita/Baytown, Texas region. This role builds new and existing customer relationships, with some non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and drive sales.

The ideal candidate will reside within ~30 miles of the territory and participate in ongoing training, with a focus on territory growth and customer success. A strong benefits package accompanies this field sales position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, OR equivalent experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales growth.
• Qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mixes.
• Monitor market trends and advise on product choices.
• Manage deliveries and coordinate with transportation to meet schedules.
• Attend district meetings and participate in trainings.
• Assist training of new employees.
