Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to drive growth in Conroe, Magnolia, and Tomball area. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts, promote Sysco products and services, and work non-traditional hours as needed to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have a business/marketing background or equivalent, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to territory development. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management or B2B/outside sales preferred.
• Experience meeting sales targets within a territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product offerings.
• Present products and services and train customer personnel as needed.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events; manage schedules.
