Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Houston seeks an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals.

This role may require non-traditional hours. You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and coordinate solutions with internal teams; bilingual English/Spanish preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with relevant sales/restaurant management background.
• Bi-Lingual preferred with ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor offerings.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Prepare sales budgets and reports, and process credits and quotes.
