Teach For America is seeking recent graduates and professionals for a full-time, paid, two-year teaching opportunity in under-resourced public schools across the United States. You’ll gain hands-on classroom leadership, build trust with families, and develop transferable skills in communication and problem-solving.

The program supports corps members with coaching, training, and ongoing professional development, while offering a baseline stipend and a benefits package, including health insurance

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher
• Bachelor’s degree (in any field of study)
• Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status
• No background in education or teaching certification required—candidates from all majors and experience levels are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school
• Build genuine relationships with students and families — not just lesson plans
• Learn to navigate the barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom
• Sharpen your communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership
• Work alongside your school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most
