Job summary

Teach For America is seeking individuals to join a bold two-year teaching corps across 40+ regions in the United States. You will teach full-time in under-resourced public schools and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that impact student learning. No teaching certification is required.

A Bachelor's degree and U.S. citizenship or eligible status are required. The program offers full salary, health insurance, vacation time, and a robust support network to help you grow

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher
• Bachelor’s degree (in any field of study)
• Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status
• No background in education or teaching certification required—candidates from all majors and experience levels are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school
• Build genuine relationships with students and families — not just lesson plans
• Learn to navigate the barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom
• Sharpen your communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership
• Work alongside your school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most
