Job summary

Zeal Senior Living is hiring an experienced RCFE Administrator to lead two communities in San Diego County: Huntington Manor and House in Poway, plus Villa Bernardo in Escondido. This full-time role offers a base salary of $85,000–$95,000, plus a performance bonus of up to $10,000 annually.

You will oversee daily operations, staffing, budgets, ensure care quality, and maintain compliance with CDSS Title 22 and related requirements. Travel between Poway and Escondido is required.

Qualifications

• California RCFE Administrator certificate meeting CDSS requirements for 16–49 residents.
• At least two years as RCFE Administrator or Assistant Administrator with staff/operations responsibility.
• Working knowledge of Title 22 and CCL, inspections and corrective action.
• Experience with tours, admissions, and budget management; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staffing, schedules, and labor budgets.
• Maintain consistent care, clear documentation, and responsive relationships with residents and families.
• Lead CCL compliance, inspection readiness, and timely corrective action.
• Own tours, inquiry follow-up, referral relationships, and admissions matching residents’ needs.
• Coordinate CalAIM and Assisted Living Waiver intake with care and billing partners.
