School Facility Management (SFM) seeks a hands-on Facility Manager / Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day maintenance for two Nashville-area facilities. You will troubleshoot, perform repairs, coordinate vendors, and act as the primary SFM representative with the client.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, preventive maintenance, inspections, and direct client communication, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and potential overtime for emergencies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facility or building maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and performing repairs.
• Ability to travel between two facilities during the workday.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Basic to intermediate computer and mobile skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, carpentry, painting).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of facilities.
• Prepare work orders and documentation.
