Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a production-focused candidate to operate yarn-twisting machinery in an industrial setting. You will set up, thread, and monitor yarn lines, ensuring quality and efficiency while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include loading yarn, adjusting buggies and spindles, performing quality checks, and maintaining housekeeping. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend to yarn twisting machines.
• Creel single or double ply yarn and load into twister.
• Reposition buggies of yarn and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Thread ends of single yarns and operate the spindle.
• Doff twisted yarn packages and transfer to buggy/container.
• Monitor production output and machine safety and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to standards.
• Follow all SOPs, safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management.
