Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a production operator to set up, operate, and tend to yarn twisting equipment in a high‑volume textile environment. You will load yarn, monitor output, perform quality checks, and ensure the line runs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of on‑the‑job training.
• Health and environmental safety training completed.
• Previous yarn or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend to machines that twist yarn.
• Creel yarn packages and load yarn into twister.
• Reposition buggies and stage tubes for winding.
• Thread ends, operate spindle, and repair breakouts during runs.
• Doff yarn packages and transfer to containers.
• Monitor production output and machine safety.
• Clean and dechoke spindles to maintain efficiency.
• Perform quality checks using visual/technical standards.
• Attend required training and follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist with other tasks as needed.
