Tulsa Community College seeks an ASL Lab Specialist to assist students one-to-one and in groups with supplemental learning, and to maintain records of ASL Lab Sessions. The role involves managing appointments and helping with lab resources and events.
The position is on-site, with some online sessions via Zoom, and includes participation in professional training and tutor certification. Books and materials are provided to support student learning.
Assist students on one-to-one and group basis with supplemental learning, keep record of ASL Lab Sessions, manage appointments, and assist with ASL Lab resources/social events/workshops. Position is up to 26 hours a week. Limited to 1040 hours in the fiscal year. The position is not remote. Lab sessions are offered in-person and on-line via Zoom. ASL Lab specialists will receive a Zoom account joined to their TCC email. Books and materials are provided to assist the student in their learning. ASL Specialist may also assist in creating resources for ASL lab and social events for ASL students. Specialist will also be required to participate in professional training/tutor certification.
