Job summary

Tulsa Community College seeks an ASL Lab Specialist to assist students one-to-one and in groups with supplemental learning, and to maintain records of ASL Lab Sessions. The role involves managing appointments and helping with lab resources and events.

The position is on-site, with some online sessions via Zoom, and includes participation in professional training and tutor certification. Books and materials are provided to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Teach and tutor ASL 1–4.
• Fluent in ASL grammar and gloss.
• Demonstrated excellent ASL and written communication skills.
• Interact effectively with persons from all backgrounds.
• Strong understanding of Deaf Culture and its communities.
• Willingness to travel between campuses when necessary.
• Experience with Zoom and online conferencing tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
