Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a project field engineer to provide field engineering support across LNG, energy, infrastructure projects in US Gulf Coast and potentially other locations. Responsibilities include work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction and commissioning processes related to completion and turnover activities.
• Experience with data management / database usage and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participates with completions certification and turnover through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program.
• Incorporates handover requirements from the customer and CSU turnover requirements into the systems completion database.
• Monitors the production of contractor certification deliverables, including quality of submissions and adherence to schedules.
• Develops reports as specified by supervision and generates on a periodic basis.
• Coordinates plant turnover/handover to end user and system completions between parties on-project, ensuring quality and consistency of turnover packages.
• Maintains turnover lists and turnover processes as documented by procedure.
• Inputs data into system databases and administers the systems completion database; ensures requirements are set for systems under their purview.
• Assists with the punch list database, running reports and chasing areas of focus as directed.
• Assists with completions packages for turnover or handover review and approval; supports subcontractor checks.
