Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Colorado is seeking an experienced construction sales representative to grow our large projects division, focused on selling new fire alarm systems and coordinating with electrical and general contractors.

The role offers flexible turnkey options and aims to expand into mission-critical and new construction sectors of the fire alarm industry. Ideal candidates will have EST platforms experience and NICET certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with EST 4 and EST Edge platforms.
• Experience with Mission critical facility fire protection systems.
• NICET II or equivalent certification.
• Experience utilizing quoting tools Bidnet and Bid Tracer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Bluebeam and Procore.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
• Sales focusing on fire protection with emphasis on fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm system installation requirements and methods.
• Write proposals and estimates.
• Establish customer rapport and build partnerships.
• Meet yearly sales goals set by the sales manager.
• Communicate with customers to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate products' functions and benefits to customers.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintain reports of sales activities and forecasts.
