Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an ITR Plant Electrical Engineer to own technical content for new unit proposals and projects, define BOP scope, cost evaluations, and review codes and standards for grid code compliance.

You will finalize equipment specs and drawings, collaborate with Sourcing on vendor selection, provide field I&C support, and work with multi-functional teams to deliver complete plant solutions in a hybrid Houston setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
Willing to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%).
Experience with AutoCAD and power system studies is a plus.
0-1 year of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Lead wing-to-wing projects from proposal to execution for Turnkey and extended scope.
Analyze customer specs and define scope, deviations, and clarifications.
Develop equipment specifications and drawings; review vendor deliverables.
Support field I&C installation and start-up testing.
Prepare technical data and present to customers.
