Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Turndown Attendant to join our Rooms division, delivering meticulously prepared guest rooms and attentive service within a Five Star Five Diamond luxury setting.

You will be responsible for floor cleaning, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies, while maintaining professionalism and following established guidelines. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of housekeeping related equipment and supplies.
• Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Being able to work under pressure.
• Being able to follow proper job-related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest room floors; replenish supplies, amenities, and linens per guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Report maintenance issues to designated person.
• Report lost and found items as trained.
• Identify incomplete tasks by performing a thorough room walkthrough.
• Complete floor checks at assigned times.
• Ensure cleanliness of supplies.
• Manage assigned supplies, keys, hub, and returns.

• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Report all maintenance issues to designation person and contact
• Report all lost and found items as trained
• Identify incomplete tasks by doing a complete walk through of room
• Complete floor check at assigned time
• Ensure cleanliness of supplies
• Accountable for assigned supplies, keys, hub and return.
