Job summary

HF Sinclair in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Machinery Turnaround Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of all machinery scope for site turnarounds. You will coordinate with production, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery of critical equipment.

The role requires deep refinery experience and strong scheduling, procurement, and contractor oversight to keep projects on plan and within safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of refinery experience in mechanical/machinery.
• At least 5 years planning and field coordination of machinery work.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Broad understanding of refinery operations and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Strong communication with production, maintenance and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and estimate all machinery work for the turnaround, coordinating with crafts and technical groups.
• Define and optimize the schedule, focusing on critical-path activities.
• Oversee parts planning, including purchases and storehouse assurance.
• Develop outside shop work plans including transportation and shop coordination.
• Review contractor staffing plans and safety programs.
• Coordinate commissioning and start-up support for all units.
• Ensure safety plans are followed and issues are resolved to keep on schedule.
