Job summary

PTS Advance in Oregon, USA seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Coordinator to lead refinery turnaround activities, coordinating electrical, instrumentation, and control system work.

You will guide field coordinators, contractors, and internal teams to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals, maintaining compliance with refinery standards and regulations. This contract role emphasizes ownership of scope, planning, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial electrical and instrumentation experience.
• Turnaround leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing contractors and multi-discipline field execution teams.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, SIS, and process analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and coordination of all turnaround electrical and instrumentation activities.
• Coordinate execution of electrical, instrumentation, analyzer, control valve, motor, MCC, SIS, and control system work.
• Review and manage emergent work requests and scope changes through approved processes.
• Monitor E&I progress against the turnaround schedule and allocate resources.
• Direct contractor execution activities and ensure alignment with turnaround priorities.
• Support commissioning, startup readiness reviews, and system turnover activities.
