Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to ensure that vacant units meet quality standards for re-leasing by performing technical and mechanical work to bring units to market-ready condition. You will handle make-ready tasks, inspections, touch-ups, and general maintenance with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready checklists, addressing repairs, and supporting cost-control efforts, while working flexible

Responsibilities

• Completes make-ready repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes are caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs/replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation promptly.
• Adheres to safety policies and participates in safety trainings.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and addresses maintenance inquiries.
