Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while building a local client base and community presence.

The role requires active EA/CPA/attorney licensing, PTIN, and at least 3 years of paid tax-return experience using professional software. Expect a front-facing retail environment and possible weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week, including Sundays.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers.
• Perform discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan future taxes.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Act as a community ambassador and help grow TurboTax client base locally.
• Engage with marketing initiatives to broaden TurboTax presence in the community.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States.
