Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide on-site tax return preparation, expert advice, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem, delivering end-to-end service in person and virtually.

You will build local client relationships, drive community engagement, and work closely with a team of tax professionals to grow the TurboTax client base while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms.
• Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Actively build and grow a new local customer base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships – Develop long-term trust and convert transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – Ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals through in-person and video interactions
