Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to join on-site locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, full return preparation, and connect clients with related services in the Intuit ecosystem.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across simple to complex scenarios.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize taxes, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local client base and build relationships with referrals and partnerships.
• Develop relationships across the Intuit ecosystem, connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and support clients in person and via modern video tools.
