Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, personalized tax advice, and connect clients to ecosystem services including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You will grow the local client base, build relationships, and deliver an outstanding customer experience both in person and via Intuit video tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory).
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, actively growing the local client base and organizing events with marketing support.
• Coordinate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences.
• Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat engagement and referrals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, using TurboTax tools and video communication to assist clients remotely when needed.
