Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete returns, and engage with the local community to grow TurboTax market share.

The role emphasizes onsite work, strong tax knowledge, and the ability to connect clients with Intuit solutions, while building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, building a local customer base and representing TurboTax in the community.
• Champion the Intuit ecosystem by guiding clients to complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships with clients to turn one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and client-focused communication.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax-related challenges.
