Aerodyn Engineering, LLC in Whitestown, Indiana, is seeking a Turbo Test Technician to join a dynamic team. You will set up each test cell with customer hardware to perform cycle testing, burst and containment, and other engine-related testing, and operate the test cell with precise inspection and documentation.

We value strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read schematics, plus excellent communication skills. This position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Testing, Automotive, or similar industry experience (A&P Mechanics, EETs, METs preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to develop creative solutions.
• Strong oral, written, and technical communication skills.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Customer-focused and professional in all circumstances.

Responsabilités

• Follow all PPE and safety procedures.
• Utilize mechanical aptitude and schematics to set up a turbo test cell and accurate test measurement equipment.
• Install test cell pipes, perform leak checks, and monitor data in turbine test cells.
• Develop detailed and effective test records using internal resources and customer specs.
• Request essential parts to lead test technician and equipment as needed.
• Assist loading/unloading of customer test articles within the facility.
• Develops the assembly/test flow for each project and identify risks with mitigation plans.
• Provide status updates and ensure completion of all test-related tasks, including inter-department work.
• Communicate promptly with the lead test technician about tests and any technical concerns.
• Capture and share lessons learned for continual improvement.
• Support ongoing learning through internal/external training and project tests.
• Adhere to all company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in mandatory labor support to meet testing requirements and department goals.
