Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own electrical programming and controls for turbo test cells in Whitestown, IN. You will program Siemens PLCs, design PC-based data acquisition systems, select sensors and controls, and support aerospace and industrial customers.

The role offers growth in design, testing, and data analysis, with a hands-on team and travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PLC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience (Siemens is a plus).
• Experience with data acquisition, sensors, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Program Siemens PLCs for fluid flow testing.
• Design, modify, and troubleshoot PC-based data acquisition systems.
• Select sensors and controls to meet each customer's test requirements.
• Test and calibrate test equipment during customer testing.
• Analyze test data and prepare test result documentation and reports.
• Maintain equipment records and perform required maintenance.
• Estimate costs for equipment repairs and improvements.
