American Turbines is seeking a Test Engineer to build and operate the test stand for the first engine, from cold spin to full power. You’ll work with the Lead Test Engineer on structure, plumbing, fuel gas trains, cooling, and instrumentation to understand machine behavior.

You will own sensor installation, DAQ configuration, and data scripting, turning measurements into actionable plots for rapid design decisions. Excellent hands-on fixture and high-pressure plumbing experience is valued.

Formación

• Experience testing hardware: engines, rocket engines, turbochargers, compressors, high-pressure systems.

Responsabilidades

• Build and run the test stand for the first engine from cold spin to full power.
• Own sensor selection and installation, thermocouples, pressure transducers, accelerometers, DAQ configuration and calibration.
• Develop scripts to turn raw data into plots used by the design team; write procedures and run pre-test checklists.
